Analyst, MyChart - III
Job Description
The Epic MyChart Analyst III is senior subject matter expert who leads the design and implementation of complex, large scale patient engagement projects on the Epic MyChart application. This role is responsible for architecting sophisticated solutions that enhance the digital patient journey and drive key business, clinical and marketing objectives. As a senior team member, the Analyst III takes ownership of major initiatives from conception to delivery. This individual will also formally mentor others, champion best practices and ensure all solutions align with Epic’s Foundation principles while meeting the business objectives of the Quest.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and configure the design of complex MyChart functionalities, including advanced scheduling, patient reported outcomes, and integration with third party digital health tools.
- Manage large scale MyChart projects through the entire lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope
- Mentor team members fostering growth in technical skills and system knowledge
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholder, translating complex business needs into technical specification and system design
- Champion adherence to Epic foundation system while designing creative solutions to meet business requirements
- Develop and oversee comprehensive testing strategies for major system enhancements
- Leads the projects that build Quest’s next market differentiating features, directing connecting their work to business outcomes
- Facilitate design sessions and present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications:
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in Epic MyChart application experience with measurable improvements in patient engagement
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting complex patient facing workflows
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders
- Deep understanding of patient privacy, data security and regulatory standards (HIPAA)
Preferred:
- Experience with MyChart related APIs
- Formal project management experience
Work Environment:
- Work requires handling light and simple weight material and equipment. Visual activity requires the ability to tolerate prolonged periods of close computer screens. Work requires speed, accuracy and adeptness to operate in system application. Fast-paced work environment. After hours, weekend and holiday work will occasionally be required as determined by the Application Mgr to support software/hardware patches, upgrades, downtimes and potential disasters.

Education:
- College degree in computer science, information science or equivalent work experience (Required)
MyChart Certification (Required)
Additional relevant Epic Certification (eg Ambulatory, Cadence, Prelude) (Preferred)
- Project management or process improvement certifications Six Sigma, Agile (Preferred)
