Job Description


Quest Diagnostics is a leading provider of diagnostic testing, information, and services that help patients and physicians make informed healthcare decisions. We are seeking a Health Systems Marketing Manager to act as a primary content creator and inbound strategist for our commercial growth initiatives. This is a pivotal role for a marketer who excels at the intersection of creative storytelling and technical inbound execution. 

This role is responsible for building and executing Quest’s Health System-focused inbound and always-on content engagement programs. The Marketing Manager will translate strategic direction into structured, persona-driven programs that engage key stakeholders—from C-suite executives to lab directors—across priority accounts.

This is not a pure execution role—this individual is expected to bring forward ideas, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously strengthen how inbound and always-on programs drive engagement and support business goals.

This is a remote/near-site opportunity.




Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and continuously improve a persona- and buying group–driven inbound marketing strategy across key call points (C-suite, finance, lab, clinical)
  • Develop, write, and edit high-impact content across multiple formats, including executive-level thought leadership, email nurture sequences, landing page copy, and case studies.
  • Own and manage a strategic content calendar aligned to priority segments, solutions, and commercial initiatives
  • Adapt and refine messaging for different stakeholders, ensuring relevance and clarity across personas
  • Define how content is distributed across channels (email, digital, social, web), ensuring consistency and intentional sequencing
  • Partner with agencies and internal teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative assets
  • Work closely with upstream marketing, ABM programs and commercial teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution
  • Act as a bridge between strategy and execution—ensuring programs are delivered effectively and continuously improving
  • Bring structure and discipline to how inbound and always-on efforts are planned and executed



Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • 5 - 7 years of B2B marketing experience, with a proven track record in content marketing, copywriting, or demand generation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions into persuasive business cases. 
  • Deep understanding of inbound mechanics, including lead scoring, nurture workflows, and funnel optimization.
  • Proficiency with Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Ability to translate high-level strategic direction into organized, executable content plans in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple content projects and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or other complex or regulated industries
  • Background in field marketing, account services, or client-facing roles
  • Experience coordinating with agencies or external partners
  • Familiarity with structured marketing programs or phased campaign execution
  • Comfort working with performance metrics and post-program reviews

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or other complex or regulated industries
  • Background in field marketing, account services, or client-facing roles
  • Experience coordinating with agencies or external partners
  • Familiarity with structured marketing programs or phased campaign execution
