Job Description
A Sales Manager Operations and Pricing- Life Sciences focuses on supporting & optimizing sales processes with pipeline management, providing pricing, delivering proposals and improving sales operations throughput with data-driven insights. This role involves analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for process improvements and pricing for pharma & bio-tech end-customers. This role requires both analytical rigor and business acumen to ensure our RWD-based offerings are positioned for maximum adoption and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Proposal Pricing:
Develop and implement pricing strategies on a deal by deal and opportunity basis, including competitor analysis, cost analysis, and market pricing research.
Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness.
CRM Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the CRM system.
Contracts Management Liaison:
Support the contract lifecycle, liaise with legal and sales to streamline the contract review and approval process. Ensure compliance with internal policies and flag contract risks for review.
Reporting and Analytics:
Create and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to track sales performance using CRM.
Collaboration:
Work with sales teams, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Sales Forecasting:
Provide sales forecasting to estimate future revenue and support sales planning.
Data Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement especially in pipeline management.
Sales Operations Support:
Provide support to the sales team on a variety of tasks, including quota management, territory assignments, and sales tools along with ongoing leadership reporting.
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- Five or more years in sales/finance, sales support, pricing management & proposal management positions in healthcare and life sciences industry.
Preferred Work Experience:
- 3 or more years of experience in pharma RWD and analytics solutions space.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and data usage rights.
Physical and Mental Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time in front of a computer.
Technical /Job Specific Knowledge:
RWD Experience – Experience in RWD solutions in healthcare and life sciences field.
Sales Knowledge: Understanding of sales processes, customer behavior, and pricing techniques.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Virtual work options
Quest Virtual Model allows eligible Quest employees to work either a hybrid schedule (two to three days from home per workweek), a near-site schedule (primarily from home with occasional work in a Quest office), or fully remote. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis with the employee’s manager and HR Business Partner.
