Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Oklahoma City, OK Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across channels such as ACOs, FQHCs, health plans, health systems, tribal, emerging care delivery models and other areas as defined.
- Drive growth and retention within existing hospital and health system accounts by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and leakage prevention opportunities.
- Own deal closure, from opportunity identification through negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Define and execute market strategies, business plans, and growth initiatives at state and regional levels.
- Partnerships with internal teams (Commercial, Operations, Clinical, Marketing, Deployment) to align solutions with customer and channel needs.
- Develop proposals, RFP (bids) responses, and business reviews for key accounts and associations.
- Launching and Leading applicable new products
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain effective relationships with C-Suite executives, senior healthcare leaders, and industry associations.
- Act as a trusted advisor, educating partners on laboratory testing innovations, connectivity solutions (Quanum, e-orders, e-prescribe, Lab Stewardship), and emerging healthcare delivery models.
- Collaborate with regional sales leaders and account executives to deliver unique, client-specific solutions
- Lead client business review for assigned business channels.
- Operational Excellence & Customer Success
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively resolve service issues in partnership with Customer Solutions and Specialty Account Executives.
- Conduct business reviews and provide ongoing training to ensure strong customer retention.
- Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue via Salesforce (SFDC); complete administrative responsibilities on time (reports, expenses, compliance training).

Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management, preferably in laboratory medicine, diagnostics, or healthcare services.
- Proven success in hunting roles with measurable revenue growth.
- Experience working with large physician networks, employers, associations, and non-traditional healthcare models.
- Strong understanding of:
- Healthcare industry dynamics (Medicare/Medicaid, payors, regulations).
- Laboratory operations, testing services, and pricing strategies.
- B2B business development and economics.
- Excellent relationship-building and C-Suite selling skills.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and storytelling abilities to instill confidence in senior leaders.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with frequent interruptions.
- Comfortable working long periods on a computer.
- Travel: Minimum 3 days per week in field-based customer-facing activities.

Virtual work options
Quest Virtual Model allows eligible Quest employees to work either a hybrid schedule (two to three days from home per workweek), a near-site schedule (primarily from home with occasional work in a Quest office), or fully remote. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis with the employee’s manager and HR Business Partner.
