Anatomic Path Support Group Lead - Oklahoma City, OK - Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Pay Range: $17.46+ per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Intended for individuals with prior work experience supporting anatomic pathology functions. The individual will assist supervisor in day-to-day operations and handle escalated issues.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with direction and monitoring of workflow to meet deadlines and assure departmental coverage
- Has ongoing responsibility for maximizing department quality and productivity by monitoring service levels of support staff
- Provide feedback and documentation to supervisor on performance of support staff
- Knowledgeable in all areas of cytology and histology support functions and performs proficiently in any area of the department
- Resolve issues that have been escalated from support staff
- Provide leadership to support staff in supervisors absence
- Complete special projects as requested by the supervisor
- Demonstrate and convey an understanding of the compliance policies relating to test ordering, test reporting, add-on tests, TIQ/TNRP, reflex tests and custom panels
- Administer orientation and training of newly hired employees
- Alert the manager/supervisor of employee or client dissatisfaction through established documentation procedures
- Able to perform all AP Support Specialist duties, as needed
- All other duties as assigned

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of basic computer functions
- Must have a thorough knowledge of client services, TIQ/TNRP, cytology and histology support functions
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Quest LIS knowledge is desirable

- Good clerical, organizational, phone and communication skills
