These are often serious decisions with far reaching consequences, and require sensitivity, tact, and a clear dedication to service. It’s about providing clarity and hope.
The Sales Engagement Specialist supports efforts aimed at increasing patient volume in our Patient Service Centers (PSCs) across the region. They play a key role in executing targeted marketing strategies, coordinating local outreach, and assisting with campaigns to drive patient engagement, awareness, and satisfaction across our broad network of >200 PSCs.
This is a field-based position with regular travel throughout the entire Southwest Region (car and periodic overnight travel).
Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution & Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at driving traffic and increasing patient volume in local Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Centers.
- Help manage digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, direct mail, and local advertising.
Market Research & Data Analysis:
- Conduct research on local demographics, competitors, and patient preferences to help identify marketing opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Assist with tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns to assess ROI and optimize future initiatives.
Content Creation & Social Media Support:
- Assist in developing engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, and email communications to engage local communities and educate patients on available services.
- Support the management of Quest Diagnostics’ local online presence, including responding to inquiries and engaging with patients through social media channels.
Community Outreach & Event Coordination:
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and influencers to increase awareness of Quest Diagnostics' services.
- Assist in the coordination of community events, health fairs, and partnerships to promote the benefits of Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Centers.
Patient Experience & Communication:
- Assist in creating and sending patient communications (e.g., appointment reminders, promotions, new service offerings) to enhance patient experience and retention.
- Help manage patient feedback channels and collaborate with the Patient Services team to improve service offerings based on insights.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support for marketing campaigns, including coordinating materials, tracking deliverables, and maintaining campaign schedules.
- Assist in managing budgets and invoices for marketing programs.
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or healthcare marketing (internships or relevant projects are a plus).
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Creative and adaptable with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) is a plus.
Required:
- Travel up to 25%
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or relevant experience).

Virtual work options
Quest Virtual Model allows eligible Quest employees to work either a hybrid schedule (two to three days from home per workweek), a near-site schedule (primarily from home with occasional work in a Quest office), or fully remote. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis with the employee’s manager and HR Business Partner.
