Job Details
The Precision Pathology Inside Sales Manager is responsible for retaining and growing a defined set of AmeriPath (AMP) accounts through outbound sales calls, by building relationships and upselling call point specific oncology franchise tests.
While this a largely remote position, the ideal candidate will reside within the Central Time Zone. The position will require occassional field work.
- Target and retain profitable AMP business by effectively managing an assigned set of AMP accounts, building relationships and securing the business.
- Provide overall support and expertise to assigned AMP clients ensuring they receive the highest level of quality service utilizing operational personnel to resolve problems when necessary.
- Develop a territory plan to retain and grow existing AMP accounts.
- Upsell oncology franchise testing to existing AMP accounts.
- Partner with Account Managers and Account Executives to effectively transition and grow accounts.
- Educate customers on all Quest and AMP Diagnostics processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
- Prepare and present proposals and bids by using all standard processes, procedures and templates.
- Stay abreast of changes in the marketplace impacting customers. Maintain a working knowledge of company products and those of competitors and share this information with sales leadership.
- Ensure total compliance with all company policies and government regulations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years business to business sales experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare, pathology, and oncology screening/testing.
- Formal sales process training. Ie: challenger sales.
- Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business

Virtual work options
Quest Virtual Model allows eligible Quest employees to work either a hybrid schedule (two to three days from home per workweek), a near-site schedule (primarily from home with occasional work in a Quest office), or fully remote.
