Project Manager - Birmingham, AL - Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Pack Health and Quest Diagnostics are seeking a Project Manager to work with the Project and Productivity Off ice to drive successful, eff icient cycles of work to support Pack Health’s mission of changing lives. This role will work hand in hand with diff erent departments as a servant leader to manage work while also keeping a strategic viewpoint, ensuring that the work product created supports Pack Health’s strategic goals, and contractual obligations.

Pay Range: $75,000+ per year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Project Expert:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to document project requirements and scope
  • Partner with Account Managers to advocate for Pack Health in client meetings, representing capacity and timeline feasibility
  • Orchestrate meetings, coordinate resources, and manage multiple work streams concurrently
  • Support project leadership to drive project scope, schedule, resource cost, risk, and management plans
  • Develop comprehensive project management plans and roadmaps
  • Track project progress against documented goals, managing scope in relation to budget and timeline
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and impediments
  • Guide the project team to deliver planned value eff iciently while adapting to changes in scope and priority
  • Skillfully navigate a matrix organization to secure delivery commitments from non-direct reports and non-project resources
  • Maintain clear communication with the team and stakeholders, setting expectations and enhancing transparency

Develop Life Science Implementation Expertise:

  • Master processes and workflows within a regulated environment and provide ideas for improvement where appropriate
  • Oversee concurrent medical, legal, and regulatory review timelines
  • Clearly document and communicate client requirements across all departments
  • Manage diverse work streams including creative development, technical integrations, health advisor training, and quality/compliance
  • Actively participate in end of the year planning for all assigned enterprise portfolios

Drive Efficiency Across the Organization:

  • Prioritize strategic projects that advance Pack Health's mission
  • Spearhead process improvement initiatives to streamline internal communication, workflows, and other key areas
  • Conduct resource and capacity planning to aid in the forecast accurate timelines
  • Cultivate positive working relationships at all organizational levels, from peers to senior leadership
  • Execute work cycles efficiently to meet agreed-upon goals
  • Transform challenges into opportunities for iterative process improvements
  • Empower team members to maximize their potential
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize work, providing visibility into timelines and potential roadmap disruptions
  • Align eff orts with Pack Health's strategic goals and contractual obligations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • PMP certification (preferred)
  • Managerial experience with direct reports (preferred)
  • 3-7 years of experience in Healthcare and Project Management
  • Proficient in Agile Project Management methodologies and Scrum
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheet, Jira, and Microsoft systems
  • Demonstrated interest in Healthcare; specifically in Payer, Self Insured Employer and Life Science verticals
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders eff ectively
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and precision in all aspects of work
