Pay Range: $96,000 - $120,000 / year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Please note this is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in the office/ 2 days WFH)

The business development analyst is responsible for generating financial analytics to validate if we are meeting proforma expectations. This individual will prepare financial analytics to be presented to PLS leaders and potential customers. The BD Analyst will assist in developing strategies and tools to be used in evaluating how we are tracking from an FTE, savings or operating margin standpoint.

This individual needs to be organized and manage multiple priorities simultaneously and must be able to communicate effectively with PLS senior leadership or external customers.  




Responsibilities:
  1. Ability to manipulate and understand large amounts of customer labor, volume and financial data
  2. Responsible for data collection, data tracking and evaluation of data quality
  3. Work on financial true-up during the implementation phase of a new deal to reimburse both parties for excess inventory purchased or other one-time items
  4. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with CRM, OPS and our implementation teams to ensure financial metrics are being measured appropriately
  5. Prepare ad hoc financial analysis looking at FTE, volume and test mix trends to help external customers understand key drivers of operational performance
  6. The ability to present to external customers during business committees comparing how we are trending vs. proforma expectations
  7. On-going enhancement/improvement of financial modeling tools and databases



Qualifications:

Experience, Education, and Licensure:

  • Bachelor degree in business required; MBA preferred.  3-6 years of experience in accounting, finance or business development. Lab industry or related healthcare field preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical background; experience working with test volume and expense data preferred
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities for multiple customers
  • Team oriented
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to conclusion
  • Open to travel and present on-site at various hospitals for business committees
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required, experience with Power Query a plus
