Senior Manager IT, Client Integration (Hybrid Opportunity)
Lead a variety of high-profile projects and teams to support Quest’s Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) growth opportunities with a focus on IT Client Connectivity solutions (EMR interfaces, LIS lab-to-lab interfaces, software implementation, etc.). Apply Quest Management System (QMS) principles and tools to drive projects to completion.
- Collaborate with Business Development, IT PMO, other internal departments and external entities to drive integrations for M&A.
- Persistently capture critical details needed to support the pre-integration planning phase through effective engagement with the seller and internal parties while being sensitive to the confidentiality of M&A deals.
- Drive alignment with IT Connectivity Ops leaders to define appropriate solution design, resource model, timeline, and cost projections.
- Lead projects and working teams to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects. Leads projects through issues, roadblocks, and Acts as a change agent to drive teams toward success. Ensures all appropriate tools/documents are completed and updated (e.g., charter, gantt chart, status updates).
- Document critical workflows (e.g., carve out orders, STAT orders, etc.), requirements, and decisions points, and build into a comprehensive integration plan.
- sponsors and Establish regular points of communication. Manages sponsor and stakeholder’s expectations. Presents to leadership as needed.
- Delivers the expected Performs root cause analysis on project shortfalls and takes corrective action as necessary.
- Applies project management tools and techniques, as well as other QMS principles and tools, toward a variety of projects
- Coach other employees on the use of various tools, concepts and practices foundational to QMS in order for Quest Diagnostics employees to build self-sufficiency, sustainability and scalability
- Contribute to the development of repeatable integration playbooks, tools, and best practices to streamline future integrations.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare integrations
- Exposure to clinical laboratory, provider networks, or digital health platforms.
- PMP or similar project management certification or skills desired.
- QMS “Core Practitioner Training” desired (internally provided as exception)
- QMS Project Management Certification desired (internally provided as exception)
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from initiation to completion (4 to 6 years experience)
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional projects involving external stakeholders or clients.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions or workshops
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with others

- Demonstrated data analysis skills

- Some experience with process management

- Demonstrate expertise in interpreting and implementing HL7 standards to support the data integration.
- Demonstrate the ability to solve complex integration issues with development solutions if necessary.

- 0-30% travel expected (expectations shown are targeted ranges; actual travel required will vary by project and can exceed or go below targeted amounts)
