Job Description
The Senior Director, Corporate Strategy provides insights and advises Quest senior leaders on strategic challenges and opportunities for the organization. S/He provides thought leadership on the healthcare market and on how Quest Diagnostics can achieve its vision, goals and strategy. Pay Range: $210,000 - $250,000/year + 25% Annual Incentive Plan + Long-Term Incentive
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
Support the Corporate-wide 3-year strategic planning process; serve as a liaison to business teams to ensure outputs are relevant and consistent across Quest; support the corporate roll-up to facilitate prioritization and decision making
Develop and build relationships with key internal stakeholders to lead and manage joint workstreams on strategic initiatives, analysis and project implementation
Generate consensus and action within conflicted and under-informed situations or decisions
Responsible for structuring, developing and delivering compelling presentations and insights
Execute on assigned strategy projects in a timely manner; deliver high quality outputs; and participate as a team member on implementation as needed
Be comfortable with quantitative and qualitative analyses for critical growth efforts.Analyses can include financial modeling, market structure and sizing, and competitive analysis
Develop and disseminate views on healthcare and diagnostic industry trends and competitive intelligence in support of strategic planning and other corporate initiatives
Develop materials for Board of Directors meetings, and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings that effectively communicate insights and recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional partners across the enterprise
Serve as a mentor and coach to junior members of the Corporate Strategy team
Qualifications:
7+ years consulting experience and/or 10+ years in corporate strategy
Experience with a leading strategy or management consulting firm strongly preferred
Experience in the healthcare sector and understanding of industry dynamics
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business, Finance, a hard science or any other related field; MBA or related master’s degree preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences.Strength in visual storytelling via PowerPoint is critical
Superior analytic and problem-solving ability; financial/business case modeling
Ability to lead from within; influencing without being in a position of authority
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity
Effective relationship building skills
Strong executive presence and ability to engage effectively with executive team in real-time problem-solving and presentations
