The Workforce Health Solutions Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with existing customers through a client-centric sales approach. This role focuses on understanding client needs, identifying tailored solutions, and driving additional value to increase satisfaction, loyalty, and account growth. Key activities include proactive account reviews, solution recommendations, upselling, contract renewals, and ensuring long-term customer success.
The preferred work location is Lenexa, KS, but remote candidates may be considered.
This is a sales position which will require periodic field-based travel.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned customers and consultant partners
- Conduct regular account reviews to understand client goals, challenges and opportunities.
- Apply a client-centric selling approach to identify tailored solutions that address customer needs.
- Drive account growth through strategic upselling and expansion initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and evolving customer needs.
- Maintain accurate account records, sales activity and pipeline updates in CRM system
- Monitor account performance, usage, and engagement metrics to proactively address potential risks
- Leverage all tools and resources (including data, sales portal, Marketing Department, Laboratory resources, and regional or national resources) as needed.
- Collaborate with all internal teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all company policy and government regulations.
Qualifications:
Required WorkExperience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Account Management roles, ideally within healthcare, wellbeing, or benefits industries.
- Must be experienced with CRM Programs such as Salesforce
- Proven track record of retaining and growing existing accounts through consultative or client-centric sales.
Preferred Work Experience:
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with employer-sponsored health programs, wellness platforms, or benefits technology
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex health and wellbeing solutions into clear, value-driven proposals
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Perform job duties with frequent interruptions or distractions
- Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and/or customers for different purposes in different contexts
- Maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to collaborate and influence internal and external clients at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate business acumen, including confidence in presenting and discussion business issues with Benefit Managers and Directors.
- Experience making independent decisions and manage large projects that directly impact our business and the business of our clients.
- Proven ability to develop relationships with executive level personnel resulting in successful closure of the sale.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all employees.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Proven selling and negotiation skills

Virtual work options
Quest Virtual Model allows eligible Quest employees to work either a hybrid schedule (two to three days from home per workweek), a near-site schedule (primarily from home with occasional work in a Quest office), or fully remote. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis with the employee’s manager and HR Business Partner.
