Job Description
The Salesforce Administrator I will support the daily system administration and user management activities for our existing Salesforce platform. This position will be responsible for collaborating across the instance and within the organization, delivering best-practice administration and reporting solutions and supporting the overall governance of the system.
This position will work alongside other Salesforce Administrator(s) and Salesforce Developer(s) to develop solutions based on stakeholder requirements and deliver those solutions according to best practice.
The position will be hybrid (3 days per week in office) and based in Lenexa, KS.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator(s), Business Stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts to validate business requirements
- Oversee user and license management activities, user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions and groups
- Respond and resolve user support tickets
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices for configuration and reporting solutions, while maintaining documentation and tracking on service items and solutions developed
- Maintain awareness and proactively support release cycles and announcements
- Map and understand existing systems, evaluate functionality and customer/user experience
- Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, testing and user acceptance, deployment and change management
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- Salesforce product knowledge, with at least 3 months of Salesforce ‘superuser’ experience (ability to create reports, define continuous improvement opportunities)
- Experience with the following packages/products preferred:
- Sales Cloud
- Health Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Sales Engagement
- Experience with the following packages/products preferred:
- Certified Salesforce Administrator is preferred. Certification within 6 months of hire is expected.
Preferred Work Experience:
- Experience serving as Project Leader
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Extended functional and/or technical certifications, badges and super badges to demonstrate personal/professional development and specialization
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Perform job duties with frequent interruptions or distractions
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions.

- Salesforce CRM
- Salesforce Reporting & Dashboards

Skills:
- Proactive attitude toward enhancement, automation, governance. and reduction of technical debt
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong business and process analysis skills with focus on best practice
- Ability to translate or interpret business requirements from non-technical users
- Create governance documentation and maintain good business acumen practices
- Strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects with multiple customers meeting defined deadlines with the appropriate level of accuracy
- Resiliency and ability to adjust priorities and pivot quickly as circumstances dictate
- Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and/or customers for different purposes in different contexts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present effectively to all levels in an organization
- Preferred:
- Experience working with large data sets, including standardization, transformation, and normalization
- Demonstrates continued personal/professional development.

Virtual work options
Quest Virtual Model allows eligible Quest employees to work either a hybrid schedule (two to three days from home per workweek), a near-site schedule (primarily from home with occasional work in a Quest office), or fully remote.
