Sr. Operations Metrics Analyst - Erie, PA - Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Pay Range: Minimum of $64,800+ per year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Create and manage master data sets from raw sources to deploy Operational Metrics and develop customized analytical tools. Identify data trends and perform root cause analysis to make data driven decisions for Order to Cash processes.
Responsibilities:
- Owner and single source of truth of Operations Metrics data for assigned Order to Cash processes
- Adherence to data integrity is critical as Operations Metrics are a fundamental driver of business decisions, a basis of senior management regional reviews and a significant contributor of variable compensation for all company employees
- Facilitate alignment around Operational Metric definitions, defects and opportunities.
- Work across regional director level and corporate function management to achieve agreement around core components of measurement.
- Develop automated data solutions in partnership with corporate IT and Master Data Management teams
- Leverage developed solutions to create customized and accurate reporting / scorecard / management tools for regional Operations teams
- Design and maintain data submission templates to be used as the basis of master data sets
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and adopt operating mechanisms to manage critical data at the local level in a single structured format
- Query and collate metrics from automated and non-standard data sources
- Work across standard and non-standard sites to collect data in adherence to agreed upon operational definitions
- Develop /program automation in VBA to collate multiple site specific information into single master data sets
- Perform checks and audits of all data sources to ensure resulting metrics are accurate and complete
- Examples of Operational Metrics that will be owned, designed, managed and analyzed
- Daily & hourly capital equipment utilization by site location (2M+ tests run on 1k+ instruments per day)
- Daily & hourly labor productivity metrics by job function (calculated draws/day for 10k phlebotomists, reqs/hr for 1k data entry FTE)
- Daily superior customer experience metrics by core process (hourly patient wait time @ 2k+ sites, ASA/TSF for 10k+ calls/day)
Qualifications:
Education
BS/BA or equivalent required.
Mathematics/Statistics degree
preferred
Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred
Required Work Experience:
5 year minimum work experience in role requiring analytics or reporting

Knowledge:
- Expertise in creating, managing and discerning large master data sets
- Working understanding and experience with relevant Order to Cash processes
- Systems knowledge: QLS, QBS, QDSS, Cognos, QPS, QMPS, IDAA (These are internal systems to Quest Diagnostics).
Skills:
- Expertise in rational database query and creation (Access & SQL)
- Direct experience in influencing operational leaders
- A proven track record in analyzing data and drawing actionable conclusions
- Software / Programming requirements:
- Excel- for data mining and creation of static modeling
- Minitab- for statistical analysis of historical data
- Access- for database queries and creation
- SharePoint / Tableau- for distribution of metrics / data sets
