Intern, College/Student
Job Description
The Intern will:
• Support operational and supply chain projects
• Assist with process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Develop analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
This role is intended for students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and focuses on learning and skill development.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Support assigned operational and supply chain projects under supervision
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and basic process documentation
• Attend team meetings and contribute to collaborative work
• Prepare basic presentations or summaries of project findings
• Participate in training, learning sessions, and professional development activities
• Provide general project and administrative support as needed
Learning & Development
• Exposure to operations and supply chain functions
• Introduction to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean concepts)
• Mentorship and feedback from experienced professionals
• Development of professional communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
Required
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
o Operations
o Supply Chain Management
o Business
o Engineering
o Life Sciences
o or a related field
• Strong academic standing (preferred GPA 3.0 or higher)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
Preferred
• Prior internship, coursework, or project experience related to operations or supply chain
• Exposure to data analysis or process improvement concepts
Work Environment & Logistics
• Location: On-site
• Duration: Temporary / Internship
• Travel: Minimal or none
• Supervision: Work performed under direct guidance
