EHS Admin - West Hills, CA | Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM 

Pay range: $24.12 - $36.18 / hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Provides administrative support for the West Region EHS department.  Coordinates activities between EHS and internal customers, develop and manage EHS Resources (SmartSheets, Sharepoint, EcoOnline, Projects), assist in gathering documentation and necessary data (Invoices, Consumption, Spend, etc…), help track and coordinate schedules to ensure regulatory reporting and fee payment deadlines are met.  




Responsibilities:
  • Provides administrative support to the West Region EHS Team.
  • Leads the development of templates, dashboards, documents, folders, and spreadsheets, tools, etc. and management of EHS resources in Smartsheet, SharePoint, EcoOnline, others as needed. Assist in maintaining ongoing EHS communications to the region using said EHS resources.
  • Assist West Region EHS team in management of invoice and sustainability trackers.
  • Assist in gathering documentation and necessary data from internal stakeholders and/or 3rd party to maintain invoice and sustainability trackers
  • Maintain accurate, current, systematic and organized recordkeeping of all supporting documents for invoice and sustainability trackers.
  • Assist in reviewing and processing EHS invoices, CAPEX documentation, and expense reports as needed.
  • Take meeting minutes for safety committees, weekly EHS team calls, Strategic plan calls.  Distribute minutes and help track action items and all communications to completion.
  • Assist in supporting employee on-site clinics and other EHS events.
  • Track emergency supplies and place orders as necessary to maintain adequate supplies.
  • Liaison with operations (Lab, PS, Logistics, Corp, Facilities) to gather necessary data and to schedule routine meetings and communications to support ongoing cross function team EHS initiatives.
  • Assist local EHS in distributing regulatory agency permits and posters upon receipt to ensure timely posting per regulations.
  • Other administrative responsibilities and special projects to support EHS as needed.



Qualifications:

Required Work Experience:  

  • Minimum 1-3 years of administrative experience 

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills:  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; 
  • Experience in Smartsheet, SharePoint preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects while working in a fast paced environment; 
  • Excellent Communication Skills; 
  • Excellent Organizational Skills;  
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills. 

Physical and Mental Requirements:  

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
