Job Purpose:

Provide internal support to Strategic Account Executives(SAE) and Customer Liaison Managers(CLM) and external backup to their clients.  Create a proposal based on documents provided by SAEs and CLMs. Engages in activities that maximize client satisfaction and SAE productivity.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Create customer proposals based on SAE and CLM completed documents. Also complete direct customer related budget templates as required.

  • Check documents submitted by SAE and CLM for accuracy. Research is completed, errors corrected as necessary.

  • Cross check bid sheets and fees against documents submitted by SAE and CLM for accuracy. Liaise with Scientific Affair and Finance to verify and support fees submitted by SAE and CLM.

  • Complete financials for each budget and obtain necessary margin approvals via Sales Force database.

  • Acting as backup to the external client when SAE is unavailable.

  • Liaison between SAEs, CLMs and other departments within the Quest Diagnostics Clinical Trials organization.

  • Provide administrative support to the SAE in the completion of the budget process.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

BS degree or equivalent education and work experience – experience in a clinical trials or pharmaceutical environment a plus.

Inside sales and customer service experience in related field desired

1-2 years continual work experience.

Excellent computer skills. Experience with Excel required.

Self motivated and strong communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment
