Client Support Order/Entry Clerk
AmeriPath Shelton, CT
Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM (No Weekends)
This position supports the AmeriPath Northeast lab in Shelton, CT ordering and shipping laboratory client supplies, supporting logistic by obtaining and entering client supply orders into the Materials Management software system, as well as supporting lab safety and facility needs.
Candidates must have computer skills (Excel), be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking, comfortable being on their feet throughout the day and have a strong desire to learn.

Pay range: $17.33 - $22.00 / hour; employee may be eligible to receive shift differential of 10% for some or all hours worked on second shift and 15% for some or all hours worked on third shift. Additional details on shift differential will be provided if an offer is extended.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
- Obtain client supply orders and enters them into the Materials Management software
- Interact with clients as needed to obtain client supply order requests
- Research client supply problems in conjunction with Marketing, Logistics and Client Supply warehouse, etc as needed
- Inform clients of backorders and expected delivery times
- Inform clients of utilization constraints if the amount requested exceeds the established utilization ratios.
- Assist the Client Supply Materials Analyst, Client Supply Manager, Warehouse Materials Analyst and/or Warehouse Manager in resolving client utilization questions.
- Inform the appropriate individuals of low stock and back ordered items.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports as needed.
- Assist in performing cycle counts and full physical inventories as needed.
- Assist in pick/pack process as needed.
- Comply with all applicable and current Materials and Services Management, Human Resources, Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, OSHA, CLIA, etc. and policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Previous experience in data entry preferred
- Previous call center experience

Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, etc) or equivalent would be helpful, but not required
Skills:
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Strong communication, especially verbal skills
- Good record keeping skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to operate a computer, printer, copier, and other basic office equipment
- Ability to type minimum of twenty-five (25) words per minute
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
