This position is responsible for driving visibility and engagement of our Anatomic Pathology Medical staff with areas of the organization such as the Oncology Franchise, Advanced Diagnostics, Commercial Sales, Operations and Business Development.  The position requires a self-starter with in depth knowledge and appreciation for the Anatomic and Molecular Pathology profession in order to promote and leverage our internal expertise resulting in accelerated growth, maximized revenue and maintenance of existing business across the Pathology and Advanced Diagnostic lines of business.

Roles and Responsibilities -  Act as internal liaison and conduit between the anatomic pathology team (lab and hospital based) and various parts of the organization to drive visibility, engagement and interaction: Pathology and Oncology Franchise, Advanced and Companion Diagnostics, product Directors, Commercial Sales and Training, Operations, Business Transformation, Health Plans and Medical Affairs, Cross Functional Relations with Advanced & Companion Diagnostics. 

Drive communication and alignment with the Pathology and Advanced Diagnostics business lines and initiatives

Interface with Marketing and Product Directors to develop mechanisms to socialize awareness of any new product launches for pathology, advanced and companion testing. Coordinate and Execute product training for pathologists

Develop supportive messaging and mechanisms to drive internal referrals of esoteric testing from the hospital based practices.  Maximize collaboration of our Companion Diagnostics Partnerships. Engage with approved Pharmaceutical Pathology Support teams to assist them in gaining access to our national pathology network Commercial Engagement

Promote interaction and engagement between Pathologists, Director of Commercial Sales Excellence, Operations and the Commercial Sales Teams to maintain current business, drive new growth and accelerate AP volumes.

Encourage pathologist's involvement with: ¨ Client interactions, meetings, dinners, speaking events ¨ Routine Sales/Lab/Pathology pipeline development and business strategy meetings

Work closely with Commercial Sales Training to help educate new hires on how to leverage pathology expertise and sub-specializations as well as on the value working closely with pathologists to drive sales growth. Interfacing with Operations and Business Transformation

Provide support through Anatomic Pathology integrations. Work closely between the project management teams and pathologists to drive positive change and successful assimilation Maximize Business Development Opportunities. Engage and Interface with Pathologists, Leadership, Finance, Professional Lab Services and Hospital teams to move forward business opportunities that may arise with Hospital Pathology Contract Requests for Proposal

Qualifications: Education Required-  Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Degree a plus

Work Experience:  5+ years relevant physician relations, leadership, sales or operational experience preferably in the Anatomic/Molecular Pathology, Oncology and/or Companion diagnostics space

Project management and/or business development experience a plus. Critical Know How and Skill
