Job Description
Pay Range: $120,000 - $160,000 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsible for ongoing development, management, implementation and execution of a portfolio of infrastructure initiatives supporting the Pricing Plan of Record. The role will be the primary lead for all QBS systems implementation and supported decentralized systems, regardless of reporting relationship of said systems. Responsibilities will also include coordination and communications with other areas of Strategic Pricing and Finance.
Responsibilities:
Develop plans to execute across the Quest infrastructure from The Pricing Plan of Record
Partner with field finance to obtain VOC on proposed pricing initiatives
Work with IT partners to understand current systems capabilities. Execute systems changes as needed to support The Pricing Plan of Record
Collaborates with strategic pricing, clinical franchise, business development and field finance to formulate and drive strategic pricing initiatives
Keeps abreast of Medical Regulatory Affairs changes and implications on pricing
Collects and analyzes data to evaluate and prioritize existing and potential opportunities
Utilizes market and competitive intelligence in price planning and decision making
Additional Duties (dependent on area of focus)
QBS Systems Execution:
- Manage the daily responsibilities related to QBS systems maintenance to include SOP’s, process, QBS systems files, fee schedules, load files, mailboxes and audit documentation
- Work with decentralized systems to execute corporate driven pricing initiatives
- Identify and execute process improvements within area of responsibility, incorporate AI and automation when possible
- Partner with strategic pricing and the clinical franchise teams to understand requirements and build systems and plans to ensure a successful execution
Batch Process Tool and BOT:
- Manage the regular maintenance
- Document and manage all SOP’s related to changes to the business rules
- Complete training of tools for new users. Identify areas where retraining will help finance and commercial. Execute those training sessions and measure improvement
- Continue automation and AI integrations
Pre-Conversions and Conversions:
- Manage the entire pre-conversion process for QBS locations in partnership with the EPIC conversion team
- Manage changes needed to the pricing tool to improve process, functionality or performance
- Document status of conversion and hand off items for either the conversion team or commercial. i.e. mapping, problems, etc.
Project Execution:
- Execute revenue generating projects companywide in support of the Pricing Plan of Record
- Coordinate communication of price changes as needed with commercial partners
- Identify and execute process improvements on annual projects
- Support pricing leadership with adhoc analytical request
Qualifications:
Job Experience:
7+ years in a combination of pricing, managed care, financial analysis, billing, product management, business development or operations roles in medium to large-size companies
Intermediate level - MS Office Suite with a demonstrated proficiency in Access and Excel
Education:
BS degree in finance, accounting or business

Preferred - Knowledge of healthcare or laboratory specific industry complexities (third party payers, government payers, CPT coding, reimbursement, denials and billing environment)
