Sr. Manager, Health Systems (Hybrid)
The Sr. Manager, Health Systems position will report to the Finance Director, Health Systems and lead a team of Financial Analysts to provide the General Manager and Finance Director with financial insights and analytical support to drive health systems business performance.
- Collaborate to drive business performance with the HS Leadership Team
- Drive business performance including, driving the execution of business strategies to grow revenue, increase profitability and contain costs
- Serve as a liaison between the Regions and the HS teams and Corporate functions, especially Centers of Excellence/Shared Services including but not limited to Centralized Accounting, Revenue Control, Financial, Planning & Analysis, Pricing and Business Development
- “Own the P&L”: P&L accountability, as part of monthly close process
- Collaborate with Regions and centralized teams during the Month End Close and Budget/ Forecasting processes (P&A, Financial Reporting, Accounting)
- Provide business insights on HS business performance to HS/Company/Regional leadership
- Budget/Forecasting processes – Develop and provide business trends/insights/actions to Regions and FP&A
- Identify issues/opportunities to improve performance (growth, productivity)
- Design, develop and implement solutions and strategies to continually improve processes, insights, and business performance
- Lead, coach and develop Financial Analysts
- Other responsibilities include:
- Business modeling/analysis for existing and new deals
- Account management/ profitability analysis
- Client profitability
- Capital investment analysis
Education Preferred:
- Minimum level of education required – Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- MBA preferred
Work Experience:
- 6+ years of related experience in Finance or Accounting
Other:
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to partner with and collaborate across functions/levels to deliver business results
- Critical thinker with deep business and financial acumen particularly around financial modeling, return on investments analysis, and overall P&L management
- Excellent communications and executive presentation skills, with strong capability to frame and influence management
- Ability to effectively navigate in a matrix organization and engage in healthy debates to enhance the outcome of team decisions
