Sr. Finance Manager (Hybrid)
The Senior Manager will position will report to the Senior Director, Operations Finance. This role has full ownership and responsibility for leading the management reporting with respect to Project Elvis and financial business partnering for enterprise operations. The position will handle multiple projects and will operate in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment with frequent and direct interaction with National and Regional operational leaders.
Lead Management and Financial reporting and analysis for Project Elvis which is a national lab with estimated revenue of $100M:
- Partner with the VP, Integration Lead and the Sr. Director, M&A Integrations to design and execute management reporting for Project Elvis
- Develop accurate functional cost allocations to evaluate regional performance including and excluding Project Elvis
- Review and update functional cost allocations to determine if adjustments are needed to maintain integrity of management reporting
- Collaborate with regional and national operational leaders to identify and execute on cost savings initiatives and operating efficiencies
- Provide support to Regional Finance Executive Directors for Project Elvis financial analyses
- Assist in capacity planning and network optimization activities associated with Project Elvis
- Implement business strategies, profitability tools and productivity initiatives to drive incremental margin
- Lead the creation of business cases for significant investments, if needed, that maintain or expand upon our existing capabilities and services
- Post integration, incumbent will work with the Sr Director, Operations Finance as well as Regional Finance Executive Directors and Reginal Functional leadership to continue to drive operating efficiencies
Drive Operational Excellence through partnership and support of Enterprise-Wide Operational leaders:
- Collaborate with the Executive Directors of National Facilities and Network Optimization
- Provide financial expertise in all company facilities business cases
- Lead the financial analysis associated with facility optimization
- Assist in developing a risk-based, multi-year, capital expenditure facilities forecast
- Perform look back analyses on prior facility business cases to ensure delivery and/or provide recommendations for improved performance
- Analyze network footprint of patient service centers and partner with the national patient services team to recommended future real estate strategies, which include retail/medical/hybrid, number of draw rooms, optimal size
- Drive actionable change to build-outs of our patient service center facilities to enhance the cost/benefit of new or refreshed locations
- Partner with regional and national facilities leaders to identify sustainability initiatives that will ultimately improve our energy efficiency and lower costs to operate
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of multiple corporate P&Ls and lead the associated financial annual budget, monthly outlooks and variance analyses for those P&Ls
- All other duties as assigned by the Senior Director, Operations Finance
The successful candidate for Senior Manager, Project Elvis and Enterprise Operations Finance will have the following attributes and/or experiences:
- Minimum of 8 years of professional accounting/finance experience
- BA in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or CPA highly preferred
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge of operational and financial processes and practical application of financial and strategic analysis
- Occasional travel is required, estimated less than 10%
