Pay Range: $200,000 - $250,000 salary + 25% target AIP + LTI bonus/year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The Senior Director will own the definition and end-to-end alignment of business requirements and their successful implementation in EPIC and then in the business. This role will work as a “two-in-the-box” with the IT lead to drive business requirement definition, EPIC testing and EPIC implementation, including training and change management. This role requires an understanding of EPIC software as well as our various business functions who will be impacted by this change. S/He will ensure the implementation aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and functional best practices. This role will serve as the primary liaison between IT and operational stakeholders, driving project success from planning through go-live and post-implementation optimization.
The position reports to the VP Operations & Tech Transformation (Ops Excellence) and may be based as a hybrid worker from Secaucus, NJ, or possibly from another Quest U.S. hub location.
Responsibilities:
- Own the definition of the business requirements end-to-end, with a clear goal of significantly improving productivity and cycle time (and not just translate current processes to the new system) by documenting the current state, identifying specific opportunities to improve flow, productivity and service levels, and then document the future state as business requirements for the EPIC team to implement.
- Work with key stakeholders on making this happen – functional leaders, regional leaders, subject matter experts, IT, transformation teams, EPIC
- Track expected and actual improvements and savings, similar to our Invigorate tracking, to ensure delivery of hard results
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
- Define and implement change management program, together with relevant key stakeholders, to drive adoption and use of new systems and processes
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- At least 7 years of Lab industry experience required (not necessarily lab ops specifically, but lab industry)
- Knows Quest O2C value chain, has strong Lean skills, experience, and has strong affinity for IT and change management
- Prefer experience in healthcare organizations, hospital systems, or large-scale clinical operations.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, results oriented, and collaborative.
- Strong understanding of EPIC modules, system architecture, and healthcare workflows.
- Expertise in project management methodologies.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and IT compliance standards.
