Senior Agile Coach will drive scaled agile transformation by supporting teams, leaders and stakeholders in adopting lean agile principals, improving collaboration, and enhancing value delivery in a complex diagnostics environment.  The Agile Coach will work closely with cross functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. They are responsible for driving the adoption and optimization of lean agile values and principles. The agile coach will also have the opportunity to work with a leading-edge IT organization with top talent utilizing multiple technologies.


  • Coach and mentor Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Agile team members on agile/lean practices.
  • Assess current Agile maturity and develop strategies to enhance lean Agile adoption.
  • Facilitate open communication among team members and stakeholders; promote positive team dynamics to ensure members collaborate and work effectively.
  • Help teams continuously reflect and improve, becoming more effective in their roles and increasing their predictability, collaboration, and quality practices.
  • Build and leverage effective alliances across other ART’s and the technical and business communities.
  • Help team in release planning, Agile ceremonies, Kanban, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Collaborate with other trainers and coaches to achieve client goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a customer-focused relationship with business stakeholders and other IT areas by exhibiting a high level of collaboration, timely communication, and responsiveness.
  • Targeted to point in time events in support of continuous improvements.
  • Support process optimization and removal of waste
  • Facilitate Kaizen/Continuous improvement sessions to improve and continuously optimize on a regular cadence
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping with the business and define development and operational value streams to support organizational agility and op model changes
  • Support on-the-job training
  • Mentor future coaches and teach teams on Agile methodology, principles, and tools
  • Support practical problem-solving skills.

  • 7+ years of Agile Coaching; Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • 3+years of related experience being a Program Level coach
  • 3+ years of related experience being an Agile trainer with experience in running SAFe certification classes
  • 5+ years of experience at team level coach 
  • 5 plus years of experience in Training, Mentoring and Coaching teams on Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Experience and understanding of Design Thinking, DevSecOps, SRE, Change management practices etc.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing processes, a plus
  • Demonstrated experience at driving Agile transformations from design to implementation (Agile transformation roadmap, Scaling Agile, operating models etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills and change management
  • Must have management consulting experience; large consultancy experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master, leading complex multiple technology programs/projects utilizing Agile, Scrum & other Agile methodologies.
  • Passionate and interested in drivers of digital disruption both from a customer and organizational perspective.
  • Experience coaching distributed IT teams located in multiple time-zones and in complex environments with onsite-offshore model.
  • Ability to influence change at the leadership level to the team level; Ability to form productive relationships quickly and create the spheres of influence required for organizational transformation
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor Agile change agents.
  • Must be able to understand the importance of stakeholders’ business objectives and drive the process towards achieving those objectives (i.e. ability to see the big picture). Must be able to develop productive working relationships with a wide variety of teams and leaders.
