The Health Systems Senior Marketing Manager (Upstream) is responsible for supporting upstream marketing efforts for the Health System customer segment, including identifying market and customer insights, guiding the development of integrated, customer-centric solutions, and supporting the development of the annual operating plan and long-term strategic plan for the health system business.
This position reports to the Director, Health Systems Upstream Marketing and will be based in our Secaucus, NJ office (hybrid - 3 days per week in-office).
Responsibilities:
- Aid in the development and availability of integrated, customer-centric solutions that deliver measurable outcomes, which include both clinical and non-clinical offerings. This includes collaborating with the Strategic Solutions Marketing team, IT, and Business Leaders to ensure success.
- Support solution development with insights into market gaps and customer pain points. This includes understanding and socializing voice of customer insights, opportunities to enhance the customer experience, and market dynamics and drivers.
- Help to inform and build the annual operating plan and long-term strategic plan for the health system business. This includes distilling market research and customer data to inform strategic planning.
- Serve as a champion for the health system customer through a solid understanding of the buyers' journey, buyer personas and value proposition
- Collect, update and socialize market and competitive intelligence and analysis, as well as develop resources for the Commercial team
- Support primary research initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required, Business Degree preferred
- Minimum 7+ years success in a marketing or strategy role; 5+ years healthcare industry experience preferred; health systems experience preferred
- Travel less than 20% for internal meetings
- Team oriented – ability to work well with diverse, cross functional teams and in a matrixed environment
- Excellent project management skills, including management of agencies and vendors to ensure execution
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills including ability to develop excellent slide presentations and deliver formal business presentations
- Initiative – ability to independently problem solve and find resolutions
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills to help synthesize market/customer insights into prioritized business opportunities
- Strong capabilities in analyzing data to demonstrate quantifiable opportunities or results
Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
