Job Description
The Senior Manager for Oracle EPM Freeform will provide functional / technical services to maintain Oracle EPM solutions within the Quest environment and will develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide support and guidance on the EPM solution to the Quest end users. This role will oversee the strategic alignment of Oracle EPM with business objectives, ensuring seamless financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to support the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality patient care.
Please note this is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office & 2 days WFH). The position can be based in one of the following locations: Secaucus, NJ, Schaumburg IL Lenexa, KS, Dallas, TX, Tampa, FL.
Pay Range:$160,000 - $170,000 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain multiple BSO/ASO applications in FreeForm and Planning. Includes multi-currency and Workforce modules
- Support business units as solution needs arise. Effective time management and communications are key
- Take leadership role related to system enhancements and implementation projects
- Provide subject matter expertise managing third party vendors and internal staff
- Responsible to work with business partners to gather, translate requirements and deliver business solutions as needed
- Test Oracle monthly patches in development applications to make sure they will work in production
- Submit, track and work with Oracle to resolve open SRs which may arise / are needed to resolve solution issues
- Configuration changes to application functionality, and assist with testing
- Maintain and write calc scripts in BSO/ASO languages with a strong understanding of Groovy
- Maintain a Narrative Reporting application for reports, books, bursts, and scheduled jobs
- Develop automated data interfaces and automations using EPM Automate and Data Exchange, FDMEE skills are a plus
- Knowledge of FDMEE/Data Exchange and REST APIs needed
- Support month-end close process, annual system roll forward, enterprise budget process and monthly forecast process support
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
- Oracle Planning Cloud (Strategic Modeling, Financials, Projects, Capital, and Workforce modules)
- Oracle EPCM module development
- Strong Project leadership and system strategy direction
- Capable of effectively managing internal and third-party resources
- EPM Freeform ASO cube maintenance, development and administration
- Smart View, Narrative Reporting, and Management Reporting
- Knowledge to edit Groovy code
- EPM Instance security development and administration.
- Calculation Manager development and troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for access management related issues
Preferred Work Experience:
- Working experience with Oracle EPM FreeForm modules, Groovy code, Multi currency processing.
- Working experience with Data Relationship Management (DRM) and Freeform
- Support Annual SOX Audit review and evidence
- Test and monitor monthly system patches
- DRM knowledge a plus
Technical Knowledge:
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to solve problems and make decisions. Include critical thinking, research, data analysis, and creativity
- The ability to focus on and manage details, as well as to prioritize tasks and manage time
- Understands core financial accounting concepts, metrics, processes and systems
Skills:
- Self-motivated with strong work ethics
- Knowledge of RPA tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere, being UiPath the preferred one
- Competent with programming languages such as C# and Python
- Proficient in Power BI, Power Query, Excel, Access and VBA
- Experience in process analysis, design, and implementation
- Strong Project leadership and system strategy direction
- Capable of effectively managing internal and third-party resources
- Understanding of finance processes and systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience managing projects. Prioritizing, scheduling, and completing multiple projects with competing resources
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work assignment working 3 days a week in a collaborative office environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Information Systems, or equivalent experience. (Required)
- Oracle EPM, Hyperion ESSBASE, Financial Management, FDMEE, and Hyperion Financial Reports. EPBCS, EMDCS, NR and TRCS solutions for any enhancements. (Required)
- SharePoint (Managing/Modifying) (Required)
- Proficient in Power BI, Power Query, Excel, Access and VBA (Required)
- PeopleSoft (GL, Inventory, Fix Assets, Projects) (Preferred)
- Base understanding of programming languages such as C# and Python (Preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma (Preferred)
- Knowledge of RPA tools (UiPath preferred)
