The Project Manager - Consumer Initiated Testing (CIT) leads CIT project development and life cycle management for Product team-led initiatives through cross-functional teams. Advocates and prioritizes business cases to the segment Senior Product Director and facilitates the completion of strategic initiatives through value-delivery organization.

This is a remote opportunity.


  • Leads projects and working teams to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close CIT projects  
    • Leads projects 
      • Leads projects through issues, roadblocks, and problems 
      • Acts as a change agent to drive teams toward success 
      • Guides team members to perform through issues and constraints 
    • Owns projects 
      • Owns the timeline, budget, resource constraints, and deliverables/results 
      • Shifts between the big picture and the small-but-crucial details 
      • Is prepared to roll up their sleeves and work through detailed issues 
    • Manages projects 
      • Ensures all appropriate tools are completed and used effectively (e.g., charter, Gantt chart, status updates) 
    • Communicates 
      • Actively communicates with project sponsors and stakeholders 
      • Establishes regular points of communication 
      • Manages sponsor and stakeholders expectations 
    • Delivers the expected results 
      • Performs root cause analysis on project shortfalls and takes corrective action as necessary 

  • Participates and supports in the development and implementation of Clinical Franchise strategies, including product offering and channel strategies
  • Works with cross functional teams to identify, develop and implement solutions addressing unmet customer needs that will drive profitable growth
  • Manages projects with agencies from concept through implementation. Ensure that all milestones are met.
  • Execute effective life-cycle management across the sub-segment through robust cross-functional team management
  • Work with Value Delivery partners to achieve agreed revenue, volume and margin targets in AOP
  • Partner with Marketing on product/solution marketing strategy and mix
  • Rigorously assess new products/solutions to enable prioritization within R&D, IT and Operations
  • Assure the voice of customer is brought into the in-line and product/solution creation process
  • Understand the competitive landscape to insure we have winning solutions in development and in the market place
  • Understand continuum of care requirements and gaps

Required Work Experience:

• 3+ years relevant experience in healthcare, preferable with experience in project management Preferred Work Experience:

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading large or complex projects with multiple workstreams from initiation to completion Physical and Mental Requirements: None required Knowledge: None required, SFCC / Internal Quest Diagnostics system knowledge preferred
