Lead, AI Analyst
Job Description
This role is a critical piece in our Product organization that helps to translate strategy into action as we work to make the digital experience at Quest universally lovable for all of our constituents. The AI Analyst will oversee AI product development, deployments, and compliance, ensuring that AI solutions align with strict regulatory standards and quality benchmarks. This individual will drive data-informed decision-making across the AI product lifecycle, from strategy development and governance to execution and ongoing operations.
Please note this is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office & 2 days WFH). The position can be based in one of the following locations; Secaucus, NJ, Lenexa, KS, Dallas, TX, Tampa, FL, Schaumburg IL
Pay Range:$125,000 - $135,000 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Development: Partner with product managers and data scientists to understand and inform AI product roadmaps, supporting rollout plans for new AI features and models.
- Governance & Compliance: Analyze opportunities, risks, strengths, and weaknesses regarding AI regulations; derive critical issues of the future to ensure all AI deployments meet compliance and governance standards.
- Quality & Validation: Assist in the implementation and validation of AI analytics tracking solutions to ensure accurate data collection, model performance measurement, and quality assurance.
- Operations: Manage the operational performance of AI products, ensuring they are performing as expected and managing any incidents or performance degradation11.
- Innovation: Research the competitive landscape and emerging AI trends to formulate growth strategies, create forecasts, and identify opportunities for innovation within the healthcare AI space
- Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of digital data and AI model outputs to inform sprint planning, backlog refinement, and prioritization discussions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Data Science, Engineering) to define user stories and acceptance criteria based on data insights, business priorities, and regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Provide regular updates and reports on key performance metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert on AI analytics and governance best practices
Qualifications:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Business, Data Science, or a related field
Education Preferred:
- Master's Degree: MBA, Data Science or a related field
Required Work Experience:
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar role (can include related experience, such as product management, data analysis, or compliance)
- Able to showcase previous digital product or AI improvements that you owned.
- At least 3 years' experience working in an Agile framework with digital products
Preferred Work Experience:
- Demonstrated passion for Customer Experience and acting as an advocate for customers
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and/or training other team members on AI tools or governance.
- Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, and make recommendations that influence successful product outcomes
Physical and Mental Requirements:

- Self-driven, highly motivated individual
Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of Digital Product Management and AI Development lifecycles.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant market trends with the ability to identify opportunities.
- Healthcare or clinical lab industry knowledge beneficial.
- Awareness of change management principles.
- AI certification
Skills:
- Business/Digital Analysis: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to tell a story—"what does the data tell us?".
- AI & Technical: Deep technical skills regarding AI/ML deployment and validation.
- Collaboration: Ability to build strong and trusted relationships and collaborate with others for optimal results.
- Agile: Proficient in Agile development methodologies.
- Tools: Advanced level expertise in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Python, SQL
