Epic Sr. Analyst, HIM and Identity - II (Remote)
Job Description
The Health Information Management (HIM) and Identify Analyst is responsible for design, build, maintenance of Epic HIM application including Identify module. This role contributes to system configuration, troubleshooting and end user support. The Analyst II will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to analyze workflows, resolve system issues, and contribute to the overall enhancement of Epic System and user experience. They provide support by correcting issues that arise from customer usage, identifying necessary configuration changes, supporting related systems, creating detailed test cases, contributing to testing and results analysis, and documenting all systems changes. Epic Analyst plays a crucial role in integrating systems and Epic applications, to create cohesive value chain solutions. They enhance product life-cycle management by understanding and optimizing system workflows. Remote-friendly with flexible in-office options nationally.
Responsibilities:
- Support the build, configuration and testing of Epic HIM application including Deficiency Tracking, Release of Information and Identity
- Track metrics, and develop associated documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive system improvements and enhancements
- Test and validate changes to secure system functionality
- Maintain documentation for every system modification and enhancement
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and post-implementation support.
- Analyzes system workflows and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Provide on-call, extended weekday and weekend support for on-site and off-site locations, as warranted by critical business requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in HIM, Identity application
- Excellent attention to detail including verbal communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Experience in Gallery Application
- Experience in Laboratory/Diagnostics industry
- Experience integrating 3rd party systems
Travel Required
Education:
- College degree in computer science, information science or equivalent work experience (Required)
- Active Epic certification in Identity and Health Information Management (HIM) Certifications (Required)
- Resolute, Prelude and Cadence certification a plus (Preferred)
