Analyst, Inclusion and Belonging (Hybrid)
The Inclusion and Belonging Analyst is instrumental in advancing our strategic initiatives to build a culture of inclusivity and diversity at Quest Diagnostics. Reporting to the head of Inclusion & Diversity, this role supports the implementation and operationalization of diversity strategies and programs, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. The is a hybrid position in Secaucus, New Jersey and will contribute to Quest Diagnostics’ culture of inclusion in the following ways.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Gather and analyze diversity-related data to inform strategic decisions and measure the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives. Provide insights on trends, challenges, and opportunities to enhance diversity goals, including workforce representation, hiring practices, promotions, and retention
- Program Support and Coordination: Assist in the development and execution of diversity programs, such as mentorship, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives. Coordinate logistics for diversity training sessions and workshops
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Acquisition (TA), and Employee Relations to integrate inclusion practices across all HR functions and business units
- Survey Management: Coordinate responses to corporate diversity surveys and oversee the request for proposal (RFP) process to ensure accurate representation and compliance
- Compliance and Reporting: Support the administration of Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) and compliance with EEO, Veterans, and other regulatory requirements. Prepare reports and maintain required documentation for audits and reviews
- Event Coordination: Organize events and activities that promote an inclusive workplace. Engage diverse employee groups to foster a sense of belonging and community
- Website and Content Management - Manage internal and external websites, curate and update content related to inclusion and diversity communications and resources. Ensure that the organization’s diversity efforts are prominently featured and accessible to all employees as well as external stakeholders
- Partner with HRBPS and TA to support I&D goal progress and insights gleaned from I&D data; representation , hires, promotions, retention, training completions, etc.
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations to ensure established goals are met through consistent application of practices, processes and behaviors of structures which support, sustain and progress inclusion and equity
- Support AAP via; EEO1, Veterans 42-12 and Bureau of Labor Statistics reports, and coordination of action planning meetings, resources, tools and support and organize content for OFCCP audits
- Regularly audit Quest diversity postings on specialty sites to increase diverse candidate applications and advance Affirmative Action Plan commitments
- Coordinate new employee diverse cohorts and programming to maximize connection, engagement and impact retention of diverse employees
- Oversee tactics of McKinsey Leadership program, diversity mentorship and internship programs and coordinate development, exposure and contribution opportunities in addition to tracking participant engagement/ROI
- Serve as I&D concierge/specialist to TA/HRBPs in; equity practices in employee relations, interview and selection, talent review and performance management
- Cultivate relationships with MSIs and diverse professional associations for candidate pool development and replenishment
- Serve as system administrator utilized for effective I&D program management. Advance and integrate I&D practices in culture and talent related processes impacting all employees by ensuring effective management of Inclusion and Diversity strategy, projects, procedures, initiatives and policy
Required Work Experience:
- Min 3 years Experience in Inclusion & Diversity function with effective results or Human resources, employee engagement, employee relations or similar experience
- Experience administering Affirmative Action programs, DEI learning programs

- Ability to work independently and on a virtual team environment
- Effective communication (verbal and written), researching, drafting, proofreading, planning, presentations, and ability to articulate complex diversity issues clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences

Technical /Job Specific Knowledge:
- Content Development: Skills in creating engaging content for a range of platforms, including online and print media
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in managing content on websites, social media, and other digital platforms, with a basic understanding of web design and content management systems
Software Proficiency:
- Experience with office productivity tools, data analytics software, and creative content software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
Master’s Degree
Diversity and Inclusion Certification preferred: Such as Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) or Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) which demonstrate a committed understanding and proficiency in diversity and inclusion strategies
