Program Director, Companion Diagnostics (CDx) - Remote
The Program Director is responsible for overseeing all projects within a key partnership including client interactions, project operations, and budget. The scope of projects includes assay development, clinical trials, commercialization, and sponsored testing programs. The Program Director will work across teams in the Biopharma business to ensure project objectives are met, open communication with the partner, and team adherence to the program budget.
- Drive cross-program alignment in a matrixed organization to ensure the best outcomes for Quest and our Companion Diagnostic pharma partner.
- Accountable for the overall performance of the program based on established KPIs.
- Identify program obstacles and work through solutions with appropriate internal teams.
- Lead strategic operational conversations with partner and gain alignment across functions.
- Influence across a matrixed organization.
- Manage client expectations through clear communication.
- Work collaboratively with operations teams to identify out-of-scope work.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, serve as a change agent.
- Collaborate with Pharma leadership, cross-functional Quest partners, and pharma partner to create innovative approaches to solving critical customer challenges.
- Lead Joint Operating Committee activities as a part of the governance structure.
- Ability to effectively deliver communications across varying levels of the organization from project team to the executive level.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s Degree in a related field of study or an MBA would be a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in laboratory, biopharma, and/or device industry in a client-facing operational role
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role in a contract research organization.
- Knowledge of Companion Diagnostics in US and EU is required. RoW Companion Diagnostics knowledge would be a plus.

- Ability to influence without direct line reporting.
- Strong/expert communication skills.
- Strong cross-functional team/budget management skills.
- The ability to travel up to 25%.
