National Supply Chain Analyst
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Analyst is to ensure that the laboratories can maintain seamless operations, meet testing demands, and minimize costs by providing continuous availability of testing materials to the laboratory from suppliers and distribution centers. This role directly supports the laboratories ability to deliver timely and accurate test results to patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze inventory and determine optimal levels to prevent shortages or overages of testing supplies - Use data analytics tools to monitor inventory trends, consumption patterns, and supply chain performance metrics - Use data to forecast supply needs and identify cost-savings opportunities across the supply chain - Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership - Work with internal team such as operations, procurement, laboratory teams and finance to align supply chain strategies with organizational goals - Analyze and optimize freight costs by identifying cost savings opportunities - Identify areas of improvement in inventory processes and supply chain workflows - Manage inventory during supply chain disruptions, including sourcing alternatives and developing contingency plans and strategies - Provide support for new product launches or changes in testing that affect inventory requirements
Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS Required Work Experience: - Minimum of 1 to 2 years of Supply Chain experience. - Familiarity with supply chain software Preferred Work Experience: - Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools is preferred. Physical and Mental Requirements: - Flexible working locations - Willingness and ability to travel when needed. Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel - Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large, complex data and drive actionable decisions - Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks. - Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. - Strong collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers - Ability to lead project teams and improvement activities. EDUCATION Bachelors Degree(Required) LICENSECERTIFICATIONS APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Six Sigma Certified Green Belt
