Job Description


The Director, Project Management is responsible for the short and long-term strategy for new and existing QHC services as well as working with internal and external partners to ensure targets and expectations are met. This role will collaborate with HTAS, commercial and marketing partners to develop solutions. 

Position is based in Schaumberg, IL and will work hybrid.

PayRange:$160,000-$180,000 base salary + 20% AIP

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, whereapplicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with PMO team members and key stakeholders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and product functionality where there are multiple dependencies across teams that must be managed and sequenced.
  • Support project management activities including: facilitating planning sessions, setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as: IT/Security, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, Marketing, and Commercial to help support execution of strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation across QHC portfolios.
  • Oversee the development of team members’ projects and ensure team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently and providing the necessary support.
  • Act as a change agent to drive teams toward success while simultaneously managing sponsor and stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Develop a career path for Project Management staff.

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of Project Management or similar Business Analyst role.

Preferred Work Experience:

  • 15+ years of Project Management or similar Business Analyst role.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to read small print.
  • Requires mobility of arms to reach and dexterity of hands to grasp and manipulate small objects.
  • Performs lifting, pushing and/or pulling which does not exceed 25 pounds and is an infrequent aspect of the job.
  • Ability to sit and operate a computer for prolonged periods.

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated success in leading large and complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Demonstrated experience using structured problem-solving skills: uses a systematic, disciplined and data-driven approach that identifies the root causes of various issues and designs solutions to resolve them.
  • Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement, process management, or system thinking.
  • Demonstrated experience in core continuous improvement and advanced tools.
  • Proven track record in facilitating discussions or workshops.

  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay focused, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Master’s Degree (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

  • QMS Continuous Improvement Certification (internally provided - completed within 18 months of entering into the role) (Required)
  • QMS Project Management Certification (internally provided - completed within 18 months of entering into the role) (Required)
