Job Description

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks a QMS National Senior Continuous Improvement Program Manager to apply Quest Management System (“QMS”) principles and tools to lead high-visibility, enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives, and process improvement projects. Drive efficient and effective delivery of Quest solutions and processes while improving customer and employee satisfaction. Responsible for coaching others, from executives to front line staff, in applying QMS principles and tools to their daily work to build self-sufficiency, sustainability, and scalability. Oversee improvement of regional businesses’ operating margins, product & service quality, customer experience, and employee engagement (e.g. satisfaction and productivity). Lead programs and projects by working with cross-functional team. Communicate thoroughly and effectively with all stakeholders. Uses rigorous root cause analysis on shortfalls, applying systematic corrective actions. Ensure commitments are met through the project sponsors, leaders, and team members. Lead efforts to implement Process Control and Management (process definition, documentation, ownership, metrics, and monitoring systems). Facilitates intensive Kaizen events with multiple teams to achieve breakthrough results on strategic objectives. Conduct statistical analysis on large data sets using Six Sigma methodologies. Work with local/regional QMS teams to identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities. Work with functional and site leaders as a “thought leader” to create future state improvement roadmaps with clear executable plans that are in line with the business strategies improvement needs.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any) or closely related field, plus seven years of post-baccalaureate experience OR Master’s degree in Engineering (any) or related plus five years of relevant professional experience, which can be gained prior, during, or after earning master’s degree. Experience must include conducting statistical analysis on data sets comprising millions of inputs across multiple platforms and data cubes using Six Sigma methodologies; leadership of 3 Kaizen events per months over 12 months; and project management to discover continuous improvement solutions. Must have certificate in one of: Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, Lean, or Theory Constraints. 

Travel 100% to company locations through the United States.
