Dir, Product Management Neurology
The Director, Product Management – Neurology will lead concept development to launch of innovative test solutions as well as life cycle management of on-market offerings. The role will have direct responsibility for Neurology solutions, which may include Alzheimer’s Disease and Neuroimmunology products.
The role will partner with commercial, customer solutions, operations, R&D, medical, training, marketing, IT, Project management, and finance to grow our neurology offering among hospitals and health care providers.
The position reports to the GM of the Neurology Clinical Segment and may be based from Secaucus, NJ HQ location (Hybrid 3 days per week in office) or can be based near-site to a Quest Diagnostics regional office.
- Conduct market, competitive and customer research to identify needs and trends, including gathering input from downstream organization)
- Support idea generation and contribute to identifying innovative, high value solutions
- Define the target product profile and other solution requirements, including initial business case and strategic rationale
- Work within cross functional team to use assigned resources to develop and deploy offering
- Participates in launch team, to ensure pricing, coding, reporting, training, advertising/promotion, channel strategies and tactics are launch ready
- Manage life cycle decisions for both existing and new offerings, through tracking offering performance against objectives, customer satisfaction.
- Support development of clinical KOLs and patient advocacy group relationships, as needed
- Owns all attributes related to the product – manage one source of truth
- P&L responsibility for Neurology product lines
- Operations planning
- Annual Operation Planning
- Drive improvements with operations and quality to improve customer quality and experience
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing and/or Product Management; Advanced degree/ MBA preferred
- Analytical and critical thinker

- Commercial-oriented leader
- Extremely strong written and oral communication and excellent influencing/collaboration skills across many functions and levels
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop deep insights about customers and convert understanding of market and customer needs into superior/unique offerings
- Business acumen (including finance) and judgment
- Project management skills, especially balancing short- and long-term franchise building plans
- Understanding how value is delivered through the enterprise
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast pace setting
- Prefer prior diagnostics experience
- 5 -7 years relevant experience in product management
