General Surgical Pathologist with GI expertise – Oklahoma City, OK
AmeriPath and Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a hospital-based General Surgical Pathologist with GI expertise.
Responsibilities:
Case work will include AP/CP general surgical sign-out, liver, pancreas, transplant, routine GI, and frozen sign-out. The selected individual will work in a tertiary care hospital as a part of a team of 6 pathologists and an expected broader team of 10 pathologists. Hospital lab medical directorship opportunities are available.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree plus AP/CP Residency
- Must be board certified/board eligible in anatomic and clinical pathology
- GI/Surgical Pathology Fellowship a plus
- Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where practice is located or be eligible to obtain licensure
Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted
