Job Description


As a Product Director at Quest Diagnostics, the candidate will lead our high-growth Tasso home collection ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for transforming a cutting-edge capillary blood collection device into a seamless, end-to-end clinical solution that bridges the gap between patient homes and our world-class laboratory network.

The position may be based as a hybrid (min 3 days/week in-office) at one of Quest's US-based office locations.




Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership Management: Serve as the primary executive liaison with Tasso for device innovation and microtainer manufacturers to ensure hardware/tube compatibility and supply chain resilience.
  • Test Menu Expansion: Partner with our Consumer division, Medical Affairs and Regulatory teams to oversee the FDA clearance strategy for key tests in the Quest portfolio optimized for micro-volume capillary samples.
  • Laboratory & Platform Integration: Lead the alignment of micro-sampling workflows with the Quest Diagnostics Lab Footprint, ensuring compatibility with high-throughput automated instrument platforms and clinical informatics.
  • Kitting & Logistics Architecture: Direct the end-to-end "kit-to-result" workflow, including the design of patient-friendly Home Collection Kits, and kitting operations.
  • Operational Scalability: Work with Quest Consumer division to integrate the Tasso platform into broader mobile health and remote monitoring service offerings.
  • Product Lifecycle & Roadmap: Define the multi-year roadmap for remote collection, prioritizing features like digital activation, sample stability monitoring, and real-time kit tracking.
  • Lead cross functional teams to identify, develop and implement product/solutions addressing unmet customer needs that will drive profitable growth
  • Generate customer insights to define customer/market segment requirements to set product/portfolio solution, priority setting, risk management.
  • Understand the competitive landscape to ensure we have winning solutions in development and in the marketplace.




Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years in Product Management or Diagnostic Operations, with a heavy focus on IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) and Class II medical devices.
  • Regulatory Leadership: Proven track record navigating FDA 510(k) pathways for lab-developed tests (LDTs) is required
  • Technical Expertise: Understanding of capillary-to-venous correlation, and laboratory automation.
  • Operational Acumen: Experience managing complex medical supply chains.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, marketing and/or product management. (Required)
  • Master’s Degree Advanced degree/ MBA preferred. (Preferred)
