Supply Chain Support Representative - Miramar, FL, Monday to Friday, flexible 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay range: $20.40+ per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supply Chain Support Specialist to join our Supply Chain & Operations Support team. The Supply Chain Support Specialist will play a key role in gathering, evaluating, and analyzing data to support the optimization of our supply chain processes for both Quest labs and managed sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Reporting:
- Assist Materials Management staff in collecting data, preparing reports, and providing strategic recommendations as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, filing, and storage of records, reports, Capital Expenditure forms (Capex), purchase requisitions, etc.
Inventory Management:
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the Peoplesoft or other Materials/Asset Management system.
- Monitor stocking levels for the Business Unit (BU) and ensure system accuracy.
- Collaborate with regional contacts to verify accurate asset/inventory registries.
Procurement Operations:
- Place Purchase Orders as required by laboratory staff, which may include engaging with suppliers to obtain quotes.
- Assist in placing and maintaining standing orders.
- Monitor and manage open orders and backorders.
- Work cross functionally with Regional Materials Teams, Purchasing Shared Services Team, and DPS to solve supply chain related issues.
Project Support:
- Assist in applicable assigned projects and project teams as a representative for Supply Chain.
- Support efforts to maintain accurate data by facilitating and documenting asset changes (transfers, sales, disposals, tagging) and service contract renewals.
- Provide training to other employees across multiple areas of the business.
Savings Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and report captured savings regionally and nationally.
- Effectively present data-supported recommendations.
Comply with all applicable and current Materials Management Services Management, Human Resources, Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, OSHA, CLIA, etc. policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- Two or more years of purchasing/supply chain experience required.
Preferred Work Experience:
- Medical and or Materials Management experience desired.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
- May require extended periods of focus.
- May require extended periods of sitting or standing.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills preferred and knowledge of Access a plus.
- Basic math skills and knowledge (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
