AP/CP Hospital General Surgical Pathologist – Memphis, TN
Responsibilities:
Our Memphis, TN Laboratory is seeking an AP/CP Pathologist with general surgical sign-out to sit a hospital in the area. This pathologist will be one part of a two-person collaborative team. The case mix will include prostate, urinary bladder, urine cytology, and general pathology specimens.
Qualifications:
Pathologist with 2+ years experience post fellowship preferred, but not required
Required: Medical Degree
Required: Board certification/Board Eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology
Preferred: Subspecialty Genitourinary Fellowship at an accredited facility
Required: Current valid unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of TN or ability to obtain licensure. AmeriPath will provide assistance obtaining other state licenses.
Desired: Interest in Digital Pathology and Artificial Intelligence
Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations
Ability to communicate with high level decision makers in the organization
