Collections Representative - Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central

Pay: $17.71+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing Third - Party AR by analyzing denied and un-responded claims
  • Outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims status
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile/resolve any issues
  • Familiar with explanation of benefits
  • Always Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards
  • Meet or exceed daily production standards by maintaining work list according to metrics
  • Meet or exceed daily quality standards
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned
  • Process insurance/patient refunds and adjustments
  • Evaluate and respond to all emails request for any AR issues to resolve in a timely matter



Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED 
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older 
  • Ability to create and modify spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work between the hours: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM CST

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Billing experience
  • Familiar with explanation of benefits and appeals

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy 
  • Ability to navigate on internet for researching purposes
  • Problem solving, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written
