Job Description
The Senior Data Analyst serves as a trusted analytics partner to business leaders across the organization. This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights through reporting, dashboard development, advanced analytics, and strategic consultation.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with technical expertise and is passionate about helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions. This individual will play a key role in developing scalable reporting solutions, advancing self-service analytics capabilities, and delivering insights that improve operational performance and business outcomes.
This professional will work in a hybrid capacity requiring 3 days a week onsite. 100% remote work will be considered for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Looker and SQL.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define requirements, and deliver actionable insights.
- Design and maintain trusted metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Analyze operational and business performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Support self-service analytics initiatives by enabling business users with accessible and intuitive reporting solutions.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work within Agile delivery frameworks, participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and iterative solution development.
- Automate recurring analyses and reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and business decision making.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or related disciplines.
Advanced SQL skills with experience querying large and complex datasets.
Advance experience with Looker, including dashboard development, date exploration, and self-service analytics enablement.
Strong understanding of KPI development, metric governance, and reporting best practices.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytical solutions.
Experience working within Agile frameworks and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis, automation, and statistical modeling.
Experience developing automated analytical workflows and reusable reporting solutions.
Experience in healthcare, laboratory services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
Experience supporting operational performance management and executive reporting.
Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments and modern business intelligence platforms.
Nice to Have:
Exposure to machine learning techniques for prediction, classification, segmentation, or optimization.
Experience applying natural language processing techniques to unstructured text data.
Experience evaluating and implementing emerging analytics technologies and methodologies.
