The Senior Marketing Manager (ExamOne) Owns key initiatives as part of the ExamOne marketing annual operating plan, including development of strategy, tactical execution, partnership with stakeholders, and budget management for Life Insurance customer marketing.

Working on-site in Lenexa, KS (hybrid) is preferred, but remote candidates with life insurance marketing experience will be considered.


  • Delivers and helps continually optimize compelling market-ready value propositions and messaging for products serving Life Insurance customers and adjacent markets.
  • Growth strategy development may include analysis of past results, learning from Marketing teams, and applying industry best practices. Promotional marketing to include: sales collateral/selling tools; email marketing; conference/events/webinars; social media; thought leadership content; and paid media promotion.
  • Collaborates with internal and/or external creative teams to develop all required creative assets
  • Drive promotional marketing growth programs through execution in close collaboration with commercial and product partners to help deliver annual revenue growth.
  • Develops performance monitoring and uses system to assess the effectiveness of programs and make improvements
  • May collaborate with external partners and/or customers to develop co-marketing assets
  • Creates and/or provides marketing on-going reporting to Marketing and Business leaders
  • Provide relevant market, customer and competitive insights and growth strategies for key initiatives and to help inform the business annual operating plan. Market research insights may include desk research (e.g. reviewing industry publications and competitors’ messaging), analysis of internal data, and partnership with the Market Research & Analytics team for new research.
  • Collaborates with additional internal Marketing teams, including Digital Marketing; Agile Marketing; Creative Services; and Market Research and Analytics

Education Required:

·         Bachelor’s Degree

Work Experience:

·         Minimum 8 years success in a marketing role, including ownership of a promotional Marketing plan in a B2B setting

·         5+ years life insurance or similar B2B market experience preferred

·         Leadership in Driving Results – comfortable with accountability; able to prioritize efforts based on business needs; effectively motivates, influences, and directs colleagues to achieve objectives

·         Manages ambiguity – excellent at working through change that is inherent in the health care industry and a matrixed organization

·         Strategic mindset – success in translating market trends and opportunities into growth strategies; demonstrated knowledge of core marketing capabilities, translating business objectives to marketing plans, maximizing channel opportunities, and measuring success

·         Collaborative – able to drive alignment with many stakeholders in a cross-functional, matrixed environment

·         Engaged – interested in learning market and customer needs and developing market/competitive insights

·         Effective – savvy in marketing technology and a compelling storyteller

·         Coachable – willingness to grow and improve by being receptive to feedback from leaders, peers, and colleagues
