Training Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm for Three Weeks

Various Evening Shifts Available

Call Center – Part Time Work from Home (Nights)

Basic Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to complete life insurance applications through inbound and outbound telephone calls placed to applicants who have already applied for life insurance. This job is NOT a sales job.  This position requires attention to detail and the ability to type responses based upon scripted questions. Must be able to work evening shifts offered. Equipment is provided.

As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll:
Work in our call center, wear a headset, and talk to insurance applicants over the phone.
Complete life insurance applications by placing outbound and receiving inbound telephone calls. These interviews will include gathering medical, financial, occupational, and avocation histories.
Use your Customer Service skills while providing peace of mind to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities: The major functions of the position:
Complete life insurance applications by placing outbound and receiving inbound telephone calls. Leaves messages for return calls or completes interviews with life insurance applicants. These interviews will include gathering medical, financial, and occupational histories.
Read scripted questions and type answers verbatim.
Reviews and edits information collected during the interview for quality assurance purposes.
Use professionalism, courtesy, empathy, and customer service savvy to ensure all applicable information is gathered.
Must be able to maneuver through multiple script components and Internet.
Required to meet and maintain production and quality standards.
Observe all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the ExamOne Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.
Other duties as assigned.

Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Work Experience: No previous call center experience is necessary
Background in medical terminology or life insurance industry preferred
Must have 816/913 area code
Must have telephone landline and Internet access
Must be able to work on-site for a minimum of 6-8 weeks for training

Classroom training (on-site)– three weeks, 5-9
Additional training (on-site) – three weeks, 5-9 (or selected shift)
Several night shifts offered

Minimum Skills Required:
Type 30 wpm
Ability to articulate medical terminology and speak clearly
Accurate, detail oriented
Ability to be empathetic
Read and Type verbatim
Good work attendance record
Good Organizational skills
Computer proficient
