Full-time/Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay range: $86,350+ per year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The position is responsible for managing cross-functional initiatives in support of growth, cost, and quality. The project manager will work with all levels of management within the business unit and corporate functions to develop and implement new processes from specimen collection through to billing. The project manager will also interact with Commercial Reps and Clients in support of growth efforts and corporate initiatives.
The purpose of the position is to provide leadership in developing and executing Region growth and Regional Optimization plans to exceed customer expectations and providing support to the commercial and operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in analyzing customer CTQ’s and developing alternative solutions to address quality and service delivery weaknesses.
- Implement new or improved processes in the areas of Specimen Mgmt, Tech Ops, Referral Services, Laboratory Operations at the direction of the Lab Operations Director.
- Establish referral and testing services to the West Region business unit in support of assay internalization from other West Region labs at the direction of the Regional Director of Laboratory Operations.
- Research, develop and analyze regional and corporate data to create information and communication documents to support commercial and operations growth efforts.
- Establish IT prioritization and coordination of Specimen Mgmt, LIS, and Care360 in support of Regional growth and process initiatives.
- Perform client and lab site visits with commercial and operations staff to identify growth, service and quality opportunities.
- Present progress reports to senior management on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- B.S. Degree Required
- MBA Degree Preferred (demonstrated business analysis and project implementation experience considered in substitute)
Preferred Work Experience:
- 3-5 years laboratory and project mgmt experience.
- 5 years experience working/supporting cross-functional technical operations initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership experience working across multiple lab functions required.
- Six Sigma or Lab optimization experience.
