SRE -Site Reliability Engineer II
Required Work Experience:
- 4+ years of experience with enterprise APM tools, including deep administrative experience with Dynatrace (managing One Agent, ActiveGate, and custom workflows).
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Observability Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience designing and implementing monitoring for cloud-hosted environments (Azure or GCP preferred).
- Working experience building robust automation solutions using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Proven experience setting up end-to-end monitoring for middleware infrastructure, databases, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional agile environment.
Preferred Work Experience:
- Active certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Dynatrace, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Working experience building CI/CD pipelines and using version control systems (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins).
- Deep understanding of Linux/Windows systems administration and networking principles.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Exposure to log management tools like Splunk, Opsramp.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
- Ability to handle high stress situations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
