Role: Senior Quality Engineer (Software Engineer III)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products within the healthcare domain. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and others to design, develop, and execute automated tests throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Design, develop, and implement a scalable and maintainable test automation framework.
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize test cases for automation.
- Develop and maintain test scenarios and cases, implement automated test scripts, and manage their execution.
- Review and analyze test results, preparing comprehensive test summary reports.
- Develop Web, API and Message Queue automation scripts using tools, standards and frameworks compatible with WDIO.
- Implement Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automation execution.
- Actively participate in all Scrum Team meetings.
- Work effectively with software developers, business analysts, product managers, and the QA team.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings, providing input on quality-related aspects of software development.
- Use GitHub Copilot and build agents to augment automation scripts generation and execution activities.
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Senior Quality Engineer
Preferred Work Experience:
- Experience designing, developing, maintaining and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, WDIO, Postman, GitHub Copilot etc.
- Experience developing scripts in integration area
- Experience in participating in code reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, document, and report software defects from script execution.
- Experience working collaboratively with developers, product owners and others.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must have an engineering mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge:
Test Automation Tool, Typescript, WDIO, Cucumber, UI & API testing, Jira, Xray, GitHub and CoPilot
Skills:
- Web, API & MQ Testing skills
- GenAI and Agentic AI
- Strong scripting skills in Typescript and JavaScript.
- Experience with NPM packages and WebDriver.
Preferred skills:
- Strong scripting skills in Typescript and JavaScript
- Test automation frameworks using WebdriverIO (WDIO) for both UI and API testing.
- Generating and maintain scripts using GitHub Copilot
- Experience with NPM packages and WebDriver.
- Some familiarity with AWS or Azure services
- Some knowledge of GenAI and Agentic AI
- Experience working in the healthcare domain is a strong plus.
