Program-Continuous Improvement Specialist - QMS - Houston, TX - Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

The Business Transformation (BT) / Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist is responsible for driving improvements and developing the improvement culture in the Patient Services division of the Southwest Region.

Pay Range: $68,200+ per year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

I. DELIVER & SUSTAIN RESULTS:
a. Support the coordination of site/plant/facility/function delivery execution plan – ultimately linked to business results and improvement actions
a. Lead and deliver projects as a LEAN project manager, advisor, coach or trainer, playing a Q/A role where needed
b. Participate in steering teams, ensuring compliance with QUEST DIAGNOSTICS BT/CI Standards
c. Facilitate CI workshops, leading projects and other BT/CI activities focused on driving key business KPIs and priorities

II. DELIVER & GROW CAPABILITY:
a. Build and develop BT/CI capability in the line
b. Identify, coordinate and co-deliver the training of BT/CI Practitioners, Frontline and Leaders to deliver long-term sustainable business results and close the BT/CI capability gaps
c. Support the partnership between BT/CI Master/Deployment lead with HR (Organization Effectiveness and Learning & Org Development
d. Assess capabilities in the line (assessment, competence development)
e. Coordinate local Process professionals, BT/CI Practitioner networks Sponsor (or co-deliver) the BT/CI training programs

III. DELIVER & GROW BT/CI LEADERSHIP & CULTURE:
a. Support the leadership teams / Business / Continuous Improvement Master or Deployment-Lead to establish the Improvement agenda for the businesses
b. Work through the BT/CI Master/Deployment Lead to engage with HR/ Organization Effectiveness in terms of leadership development requirements where these are identified
c. Demonstrate understanding the current situation and future vision, establishing relevant benchmarks/metrics and framing improvement programs to close the gaps.
