Hospital AP/CP General Pathologist – Fort Worth, TX
AmeriPath in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a hospital-based AP/CP Pathologist to assist with servicing (4) hospitals and (5) surgery centers within the Texas Health Resources System.
Responsibilities:
Candidates with fellowship training and additional experience in hematopathology, gastrointestinal pathology, gynecologic pathology, or cytopathology are preferred. The selected candidate will join a team of 7 pathologists reading a mix of case types.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency
Must be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology
Fellowship in surgical, GI, or gynecologic pathology, hematopathology and/or cytopathology preferred
3 or more years post residency experience preferred but not required
Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in TX or be eligible to obtain licensure
Must hold active privileges in facilities where any frozen section or inpatient work is interpreted
Strong customer focus and understanding of hospital/laboratory operations
Ability to communicate with decision makers in hospitals, laboratories, and company
