Job Description


As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating policies and programs for a specific client group. Covering one or more of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, and employee relations for specific internal client groups. Reports to the Director of Corporate HR with functional responsibility to one or more client groups. 

The position is remote, but since there will be some regional travel, the Sr. Generalist must reside in Michigan. 




Responsibilities:
  • Recruits and screens exempt and non-exempt applicants. Ensures compliance with Corporate hiring practices and policies.  
  • Administers the corporate performance management and salary administration programs in accordance with company policies.  
  • Services as a representative for various employee relations' issues by counseling employees and managers, gathering information and making recommendations to the Director of HR.  
  • Facilitates training and career development plans for client groups.  
  • Works with the HR Director to administer the annual HR Planning Process.  
  • Serves as the Climate and QMS Survey administrator for client groups.  
  • Assists employees in resolving benefits coverage issues by troubleshooting with Corporate HR and Corporate Benefits.  
  • Facilitates organizational design and change management initiatives with client groups 



Qualifications:

Required Work Experience:  

4 to 6 years HR Generalist experience 

Knowledge:  

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Oracle 

Skills:  

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
