Regional Assistant Supervisor - Client Supply - Dallas, TX, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Support the client supply fulfillment network across the regional business units and ensure efficient operations. The Assistant Client Supply Fulfillment Supervisor will support the Client Supply Fulfillment Supervisor and assist with overseeing the processes and activities managed through the regional client supply fulfillment network. This order fulfillment operation is part of Quest Diagnostics Supply Chain Operations. The assistant supervisor will be accountable for providing customer service excellence (internal and external) and significant shareholder value through the implementation and support of best-in-class order fulfillment processes. Responsible for oversight of ~5-10 employees in the regional client supply fulfillment center to ensure timely, accurate and timely delivery of external client supplies and fulfillment of internal stock requests.
Pay range: $60,000+ per year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
- Supervision of group leads and other hourly employees, including training, safety, work assignments, schedules, performance management, time record administration, time off, and attendance.
- Assistance with the maintenance of data integrity and inventory accuracy within the PeopleSoft system with strict adherence to all purchasing, receiving, replenishment, transfer, adjustment, client return, order fill/confirm, and automated re-order processes.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures including human resources, material management, safety, quality and record retention.
- Oversight of dock area for inbound and outbound transportation, including truck deliveries/and supply pickups to ensure safe practices and timely movement of materials.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment including daily cleanup, waste disposal, and optimization of trash and cardboard recycling.
- Effective communications with PSCs and order entry points of contact to ensure highest levels of customer service and responsiveness.
- Oversight over timely processing of client returns with appropriate BU communications and material disposition, including proper waste disposal or return to stock.
- Maintenance and ordering of supplies to support continuous pick, pack, and ship operations, including printer paper, ziplock/bubble wrap bags, cushion wrap, rubber bands, coolers, ice packs, boxes, tape, pillow film, toner cartridges, shrink wrap, and shipping labels.
- Oversight over quality audits to ensure pick accuracy for items and quantities, as well as proper packaging methods, arrangement of supply items, and box size. Ensure immediate feedback to pickers for corrective action and mistake proofing, involving discussions with Client Supply Fulfillment Supervisor.
- Oversight of sorting and reviewing daily printed batch orders on a daily basis to ensure a continuous workflow, prioritize STAT (urgent) orders, and establish appropriate cutoff times to meet daily shipping commitments.
- Compliance with export regulations for international shipments, including preparation of commodity manifests and execution of commercial invoices.

- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Good record-keeping skills
- Ability to operate a computer, printer, and bar code scanner
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) or equivalent
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds
- Ability to operate materials handling equipment as needed (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
- High degree of accountability for self and others
- Action-oriented
Education:
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred, specializing in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar, relevant course work, or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years previous shipping and receiving experience required
- 2 years of Group Lead or Supervisor experience/people management (coaching, etc.) is preferred
- Forklift certification preferred – walkie-stacker; pallet jack
